Was just listening to it this weekend and I have to agree. The first couple of listens were throw-aways, but most recently I was forced to marvel at how talented Beck is across a range of genres. Definitely hints of Sea Change (which has been in rotation recently), but with an almost Tom Waits-ian panache.

I call myself a Beck fan, but I keep going back and forth on this album. I haven't gotten to the point where I'm craving any of these songs like little midnight snacks that I can taste in my mouth. Maybe this album will grow on me yet.
